Sadly Muslims are taught that the Bible we have today is changed and that they shouldn’t read it. Even though the Quran says to read it the vast majority haven’t seen a copy in their language. They will tell you that the Bible found during Muhammad’s time was still true but that now there is only a corrupted version. What they don’t know of course is that there are many copies of the Bible pre-dating Muhammad (who lived around 570 – 632 AD).
Let’s pray today that Muslims would seek the truth of whether God’s Holy Books have been corrupted and have a desire to read them. Pray that they would find translations in their own language that are becoming widely available online and via apps.
“You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among Karachi” (Psalm 77:14). O Lord, Sovereign over Karachi! We come to you today, again, to sing your praise and declare your worth. You are worthy! You alone work wonders! You are the miracle maker, the Creator God, the One by whom all things came into being and through whom all life is sustained. Lord, demonstrate your might and power in Karachi. Truly, You alone are God.
Saddar Town: Pray that misconceptions about God’s Word will be removed. Pray that the people from Saddar will wholeheartedly seek God.
